THE STORY.

A boy who refuses to grow up. A girl beginning to understand what growing up means. And a world where imagination can make almost anything possible.

One night, Peter Pan flies through the nursery window of the Darling family and whisks Wendy and her brothers away to Neverland—a place of lost boys, mermaids, pirates, and a dangerously theatrical villain named Captain Hook. Here, children can fly, adventures never end, and growing up seems like something that happens only to other people.

But Neverland has its own cruelties. Beneath the sword fights, games, and extraordinary freedom lies a world where children are abandoned, mothers are desperately missed, and the promise of eternal childhood begins to look less like a gift than a trap.

In Bedlam's Peter Pan, six actors create Barrie's fantastical world with almost nothing but their bodies, voices, and the audience's imagination. The transformations happen in plain sight, the theatrical illusions are joyfully exposed, and the familiar story reveals something stranger, darker, and more moving than the childhood fantasy we think we remember.

At its heart, Peter Pan is a story about the terrible beauty of childhood, the inevitability of change, and the price of refusing to let go.
